We now have our very first Lunch Special menu, "Egg Fried Rice with Fried Dumplings," for $9.99. We also extended our business time from 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm on week days and 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays!

Starting from next week, we will be charging $1 for every extra bowl of rice and extra portion of kimchi. Also, we will be adding more menus. For all of your much love towards our homemade kimchi, "it's hard to keep up!" :) Thank you very much!

Again, thank you very much for your support and encouragement over the past one week. We now have a little better idea of what we can do until hiring more manpower. Below are the changes we made in this website and will implement until we hire enough manpower.
Please see MENU for the items we will serve for Friday dinner and Saturday. TODAY's MENU at HOME shows the items we will offer from Monday till Friday lunch. Please check out TODAY's MENU regularly as we will modify it frequently. We like to promote online-order and take-out (note that online prices are cheaper). Check out the online order with 5 items.
To try to minimize food waste, we will initially serve you moderate amount of rice and vegetables. We would be happy to refill them upon your request.

Since we opened the Joon's Kitchen on April 12 (soft) and 13, 2019, we are so thankful and encouraged by your support!! Our goal is to provide quality Korean food to our customers under friendly atmosphere. We however way underestimated the work involved in it and now realize we need much more manpower (thanks a lot for your patience over the past 2 days!). Until we will have adequate manpower, we hope you to understand that we need o make some adjustments.
We first need to downsize the menu. For now, we will serve 3 to 4 items during weekdays and 5 to 6 items for Friday dinner and Saturday (please click on the MENU). We will also need to introduce more self service. For example, we will ask you to come to the counter to place an order and we will deliver it to your table. It would help us considerably if you place an order online and pick it up at the Joon's Kitchen at the specified time.
We will continue to adjust as we reinforce the manpower and improve the system, and our plan is to get to the point where we can serve you the full menu. Please check back this page (UPDATES) as we will continue to post the adjustments as we make them. Your suggestions for improving our service will be highly appreciated. In trying to serve fresh food, we prepare ingredients daily and may need to close early as they are sold out.
